Join the Serra Club of Council Bluffs for the celebration of Mass on Saturday, August 1, at 8:00 AM. The morning will also include prayer for vocations, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, the Rosary, and Benediction.
Afterwards everyone is invited to gather in the Social Hall for fellowship, pastries, coffee, and juice.
This special Mass for religious vocations takes place on the first Saturday of every month. All are welcome to attend and pray for an increase in vocations to the priesthood and consecrated life.
The Serra Club of Council Bluffs serves the Catholic parishes of Council Bluffs and the western region of the Diocese of Des Moines. Its mission is to:
- Encourage vocations to the priesthood and consecrated religious life
- Support priests and deacons in their ministry
- Help members grow in holiness
Throughout the year, Serra Club members pray for and support seminarians, priests, deacons, and religious through cards, gifts, the Adopt-a-Seminarian program, weekly Eucharistic Adoration, the 31 Club Rosary initiative, and contributions to the Diocese of Des Moines Seminarian Fund.
Serrans are Catholic men and women of all ages and walks of life who share a desire to foster vocations and strengthen the Church through prayer, encouragement, and service.
